BAH Adequacy Survey

The Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Manpower and Reserve Affairs, Military Personnel Policy, contracted with the Center for Naval Analyses (CNA) (www.cna.org) to administer a Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) Adequacy Survey of servicemembers’ housing choices and expenses. This survey will provide valuable data on how BAH rates compare to actual servicemember housing expenses.

About a fifth of all servicemembers nationwide will be randomly selected to participate in the survey, so be on the lookout for an email invitation between April-May 2025.
